The 5th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE or "Hainan Expo"), co-organized by China's Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Hainan Province, will be held in Hainan from April 13 to 18.

Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center is set to continue as the main venue of this year's CICPE, with duty-free consumption scenario exhibition areas hosted by Haikou International Duty Free City and Sanya International Duty Free City, and a yacht show held in Sanya. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will serve as the guest country of honor at the CICPE, and, new for this year, the Expo will also welcome a guest province (city) from within China, with the honor falling to Beijing.

The Hainan Expo will be the first national-level exhibition held this year. In addition to "old pals" like the UK, France, Switzerland, Ireland, the Republic of Korea, and Japan, which are set to continue to bring top brands and products to the Expo, "new kids on the block," such as the Slovakian and Brazilian official exhibition groups and the Singaporean corporate exhibition group, will also leverage this year's CICPE to explore the Chinese market.

Additionally, leading companies and brands such as the Estée Lauder Group (USA), the Reckitt Benckiser Group (UK), the Volkswagen Group (Germany), and the Charoen Pokphand Group (Thailand) have confirmed their independent participation in the exhibition. China's new luxury beauty brand group USHOPAL will bring nearly ten global high-end brands to the exhibition, including France's classic cosmetic brand PAYOT and high-end perfume brand Juliette Has A Gun, and British luxury skincare brand ARgENTUM.

This year's CICPE will place a greater emphasis on emerging consumer products, such as consumer technology, artificial intelligence, low-altitude flight, trendy fashion, health, and intelligent connected vehicles. Tech firms including Huawei, iFlytek, and Tesla have confirmed their participation.
