By reference to the number of tourists and the sales of duty-free commodities during the National Day holiday, Shen introduced Hainan's efforts to rebuild tourism industry while preventing the pandemic, main policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP) and favorable measures to facilitate tourism development. Shen proposed that island economies enhance cooperation on environmental protection, establishment of epidemic prevention standards for international travel, information sharing and construction of big data platform. He cordially invited all participants to visit Hainan to taste the cuisine and enjoy the scenery.

 

 

Governor Won Hee-ryong of Jeju Province, Governor David Ige of the State of Hawaii, USA, Consul General Iseki Yoshiyasu of Japan in Jeju, and Assistant Chief Executive Chang Chee Pey of Singapore Tourism Board, attended the forum and gave speeches.
