Feng Fei Meets Siemens Energy President and CEO Christian Bruch
On June 24, Feng Fei, Secretary of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee, met with Christian Bruch, President and CEO of Siemens Energy AG, and his delegation in Haikou. They were in Hainan to attend the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP) International Advisory Committee Appointment Ceremony and its inaugural International Advisory Meeting.

Feng welcomed Bruch and his delegation, highlighting Siemens Energy's position as a global leader in energy technology and its longstanding partnership with Hainan over three decades. Notably, on December 18, 2025, the day special customs operations officially began in the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP), Siemens Energy broke ground on its first gas turbine assembly base and service center in China, located in the Yangpu Economic Development Zone. This project was also the first landmark foreign-invested manufacturing initiative launched after the special customs operations began, reflecting the company’s enduring commitment and confidence in investing in Hainan.
Feng stated that Hainan is eager to collaborate with Siemens Energy to expand flagship China-Europe and China-Germany projects, focusing on gas turbine manufacturing, operations and maintenance services, green energy development, and industrial ecosystem growth. He hopes that both parties will strengthen practical cooperation and achieve greater mutual benefits.
Bruch expressed gratitude to the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and the Hainan provincial government for their ongoing support of Siemens Energy. He noted that the Hainan FTP’s focus on green development aligns well with the company’s strategic goals. Siemens Energy values its presence in Hainan, where the two parties have established a strong cooperative foundation with promising potential for future growth.
He noted that Siemens Energy views the Hainan FTP as a strategic global partner and is willing to leverage the complementary strengths of both parties to advance the green and low-carbon transition and facilitate the implementation of more high-quality projects. The company will also continue to serve as a bridge for international cooperation and to contribute to Hainan’s exchanges with the rest of the world, creating an even brighter future together.
Standing Committee Member of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Danzhou Municipal Committee, Zou Guang, also attended the meeting.
